The Child Development and Education Department trains teachers and staff members for work in early learning environments. Our discipline not only covers preschool teachers but also elementary school. See department chair for further information regarding elementary school teaching.

President's Message

Fall 2009

Crafton Hills College is a fully accredited institution. Units earned at CHC will transfer and financial aid is available to all who qualify.

Yes, the college is currently on Probation from the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges. The campus community is constructively addressing the issues that led to Probation and the Crafton Council is overseeing the work and progress of committees working the Accrediting Commission's recommendations.
