Schedules and Tuition Payments
The Center is open for childcare from mid August until the end of June. Each semester you will plan a personal child-care schedule to meet your needs for class time, studying, and/or employment.
After you have completed planning your semester schedule and submitted an application requesting your desired hours, a Child Care Contract will be signed. In this document you will agree to be consistent in using your contracted hours for one semester. Any alteration to your schedule is considered a change. A temporary change is a change of regular hours for one day only. A permanent change is a change of regular hours for the remainder of thesemester. Request forms for changes can be obtained from the front office. Changes to your schedule MUST be approved beforehand.
The tuition rates of the Child Development Center are established by the state and the Center and approved by the Center Advisory Board. These fees are established to maintain the quality of the program and to be competitive with local early childhood programs. Subsidized fees are available for parents who qualify.
The Center has developed the following fee policies:
- All parents/caregivers must sign a childcare contract each semester. No contracts will be written for less than the entire semester.
- All monthly payments must be current by the 5th of the month. Any default in payment will result in the termination of the child's enrollment in the program.
- All fees must be paid in full by the last week of the semester.
- No fee reductions will be made after the 14th week of the semester.
- The full contract amount must be paid regardless of absences. No credits, make-up time, or switching of days will be permitted.
- One week's notice and/or payment is required to terminate a contract.
- A child may be dropped for enrollment if tuition fees are not paid on a regular basis.
- Unpaid tuition balances will result in one or more of the following: referral to the District's collection agency, the holding of students records, or the child's dismissal from the program.
Please note that the CHC CDC reserves the right to terminate any childcare contract at will.
