| November 16-18, 2009 |
Priority "A" Registration - Priority registration for EOPS, DSP&S, Active military and Veteran students. |
| November 19-21, 2009 | Priority "B" Registration - Continuing students that have completed 40 to 109 units at CHC. Be sure to include any units in which you are currently enrolled in at CHC when calculating priority. Units from other colleges will not be used to calculate priority. |
| November 22-24, 2009 | Priority "C" Registration - Continuing students that have completed 30 to 39.9 units at CHC. Be sure to include any units in which you are currently enrolled in at CHC when calculating priority. Units from other colleges will not be used to calculate priority. EXCEPTION - B.A. or higher degree holders are priority "F" |
| November 25-27, 2009 |
Priority "D" Registration - Continuing students that have completed 15 to 29.9 units at CHC. Be sure to include any units in which you are currently enrolled in at CHC when calculating priority. Units from other colleges will not be used to calculate priority. EXCEPTION - B.A. or higher degree holders are priority "F" |
| November 28-30, 2009 | Priority "E" Registration - Continuing students that have completed 0 to 14.9 units at CHC. Be sure to include any units in which you are currently enrolled in at CHC when calculating priority. Units from other colleges will not be used to calculate priority. EXCEPTION - B.A. or higher degree holders are priority "F" |
| December 1-3, 2009 | Priority "F" Registration - Students who attended CHC previously but not in the previous term AND have re-applied for admission. OR - Continuing or Returning Students who have previously earned a Bachelors Degree or higher. OR - Continuing Students with 110 units or more. |
| December 4-6, 2009 | Priority "G" Registration - New Students who have completed the matriculation process (CHC Application, Residency Statement, Assessment, and Educational Plan with Counselor). |
| December 7, 2009 through January 10, 2010 |
Open Registration - High School Students and all other students. |

| January 4, 2010 | Last day for High School Students to submit paperwork for admission to CHC. |
| January 4, 2010 | Bookstore - First day to purchase textbooks |
| January 11, 2010 | Instruction Begins |
| January 18, 2010 | Martin Luther King Jr. Day - No Classes |
| January 22, 2010 | Last date to drop courses to receive refund of enrollment fees for full-term classes (18-week) courses ONLY. |
| January 22, 2010 | Final date for book returns or exchanges - receipt is required. |
| January 25, 2010 | Parking Regulations enforced on all streets and lots - beginning: |
| February 5, 2010 | Last day to drop full-term classes without a "W" appearing on transcript |
| February 12, 2010 | Lincoln's Birthday - No Classes |
| February 15, 2010 | Washington's Birthday - No Classes |
| February 11, 2010 | Last day to file for Pass/No-Pass grading petition |
| March 1, 2010 | Last day to petition for graduation |
