Students who have attended Crafton Hills College but did not take classes the previous term must do all of the following:

  • Step 1: Admission
Fill out an Application for Admission (Acrobat) and (a) take it to the Admissions & Records Office in the Student Services Administration Building (SSA), room 213, or (b) mail it to the address on the application. There is no fee for applying to the college.
  • Step 2: Financial Aid
All returning students are encouraged to apply for financial aid. Any student wishing to apply for Financial Aid should do so before applying to the college.
  • Step 3: Transcripts
If you have not submitted official college/university transcripts to the Admissions & Records Office at Crafton Hills College, please submit them as soon as possible. You can request the transcripts from the records office of the college/university that you previously attended. You will want to request an additional copy for your records at the same time.
  • Step 4: Assessment
If it has been less than 2 years since you took the assessment test at Crafton you will not need to complete this step. If it has been two (2) years or more since you have completed the Assessment and you have not completed a math or English Course at Crafton Hills College or another college or university you may need to retake the assessment. For more information regarding assessment follow the Assessment link above.
  • Step 5: Advising
If you have been away from Crafton it is important that you check in with a counselor to review your educational goals and to update your Student Educational Plan (SEP). If you have attended another college or university in the time you have been away from Crafton Hills College it is critical that you work with a counselor to determine how those courses may meet the requirements to meet your educational goal.
