The CHC DREAMS Express coordinates a comprehensive program of foundational courses and support services meant to fulfill the DREAMS Express mission to support, guide, and empower students.
Goals of the CHC DREAMS Express:
- To offer a comprehensive, systematic, coordinated developmental education program.
- To offer a DREAMS Express Student Success Academy, with a variety of course options and patterns, integrated tutorial support, personal advising and counseling, and co-curricular activities.
- To support students from their first contact with the college through the completion of their educational goals.
- To foster personal accountability for learning in and out of the classroom, empowering students to plan, monitor, and evaluate their own learning.
- To foster a sustained, ongoing dialogue learning across the campus.
- To help students navigate the college system and integrate with the college culture.
- To offer a CRLA-certified tutor training program.
