Week of February 23rd

Project Activities:

PE Complex

  • Concrete demolition inside pool area WEDNESDAY February 26th.
  • Roof deck installation
  • Concrete pour for slab ( from inside fence area, no obstruction to parking lot)

 

  • Delivery trucks/ increased traffic
  • No major deliveries anticipated

New Science Building

  • Grading and over-excavation operation south/valley site
  • Relocation of underground utilities within the footprint of the building

 

  • Parking lot F and ADA access ramp are closed
  • Construction noise from on-site activity
  • Dust due to grading operation will be continually controlled by the contractor

New Crafton Center

  • Friday 2/21/14: Construction Job walk & meeting at LRC #231 from 11:30 A.M. – 1:30 P.M.

 

  • Reduced parking availability
  • No citations to be issued between 10:30 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Campus wide

OE2 Building

  • Grading and over-ex for retaining wall and building pad and footings on east wing
  • Underground utility installation

 

  • Temporary non-accessible pedestrian walkway from Lot I to Lot H
  • Bookstore deliveries will be coordinated with M&O
  • Construction noise from on-site activity

CHS & CL Roof Renovation

  • Pre Bid Job Walk on Feb. 28. Contractors will be walking on roofs between 7:30 AM and 9:00AM at the CHS and Classroom buildings. Contractors will be parking in the rear parking lot at PAC.

 

  • Contractors on roofs from 7:30 A.M. to 9:00A.M.on Friday, February 28, 2014.

LRC Temporary Parking Lot

  • Saturday March 1st, tree demolition

 

  • On walkway south of SSA and lower level of Classroom Building there will be construction vehicle traffic.

  • Grading operation and over-excavation valley site
  • Relocation of underground utilities within the footprint of the building- abatement for main irrigation transite pipe
  • Commence underground utility installation for stormwater system at south

 

  • Parking lot F and ADA access ramp are closed
  • Construction noise from on-site activity
  • Dust due to grading operation will be continually controlled by the contractor

OE2 Building

  • Grading and over-ex for retaining wall and building pad and footings on east wing
  • Underground utility installation

OE2 Building

  • Underground utility installation
  • West wing footing excavation, rebar installation and forming
  • East wing retaining wall excavation, rebar installation and forming

  • Bookstore deliveries will be coordinated with M&O
